I am happy with my study program. The professors are good though there is a lot of room for improvement. The people are very friendly and co-operative. Night life is active, there are a lot of pubs and discos here. Weather is very good in summer but really cold in the winter. On the whole I am happy with my program and the place.
I did not have to write any exams for the admission process. I had a telephone interview based on which I got selected. I did not use any educational counselors. The visa interview was smooth and easy. My travel was fine. I landed at Manchester Airport which is 1 hour away from Sheffield. I did not face any immigration problems at the port entry. The university does offer 'meet and greet' for those who opt for it.
I was offered overseas fee waiver and student ship also.

I am living at private accommodation which is quite good. Library is simply superb and we have 24 hour access. We also have full sports facilities. The people are very friendly and co-operative. Night life is active, there are a lot of pubs and discos here. Weather is very good in summer but really cold in the winter. -10 to 20 degrees is the temperature limits. Plenty of part time jobs are available for the students. There are many international students at the university and they organise their cultural events. This society is having almost all the cultures and religions and is a nice place to come for studies.
The university has a placement cell and it is not so difficult to get into a job.
