I am currently doing my masters at Georgia Institute of Technology. The professors are excellent and I am very happy with them. This a great institute for future students to consider for their higher studies.

I had to write a GRE to get admission at Georgia Tech. I took coaching classes for Vocabulary from MJ academy. For the admission process I did seek help from a professional Counselor. The visa interview was very smooth. I flew Lufthansa to get here since they were the only ones giving student discounts and allowing us an extra baggage considering our visa status of a student. No immigration issues.

It is not easy to get funded as soon as you reach here. In my University you need to work under a prof for a semester before you can expect any kind of assistantship.

The professors are very good and they know their areas very well. I really can’t comment on anything regarding any scope of improvement in their teaching methodology as I feel they better than the best. I am quite happy with them.

I stay off campus but within walking distance. There is an Indian Students association called India Club at Georgia Tech which helps you out with airport pick ups and temporary accommodation.

There is nothing called campus placement out here. Georgia Tech organizes career fairs within the campus annually in which more than 300 companies come and talk to students and collect their resumes. This builds a strong network and students are called for interviews sometimes on campus but most of the times off campus.
