Melbourne University has a great range of quality teachers in all their fields of study. It used to have a great reputation for their arts courses but unfortunately they have moved their focus on to the IT, Education, Science and Commerce department. However, even tho the courses offered within the Art faculty has decreased, the quality of teachers within the available subjects has strengthened. Most assignments are fun and easy to enjoy- if you like to think outside the box. My advice is that if you choose to study Arts you check out how the program is structured and if they still offer the course you want. Also don't get confused: If you want to do something like journalism, cinematography studies or professional writing choose the Media and Communications faculty!

I used the IDP at Vietnam and then Singapore. They are FANTASTIC. They really commit to their work and make everything easier for you. I was able to save a lot of money in certifying documents and photocopying papers because they do it all for you. Its a simple and amazing service! Search for the nearest IDP center in your city!

The quality of teachers is fantastic. Many subjects are 'mind blowing' as in they will change the ways in which you view everything around you. Lectures and tutorials are easy to swap through the 'Alloc8' system (you'll find out about it when you start uni). Lecturers can be boring sometimes, but the subjects themselves are extremely interesting.

Melbourne is such an amazing city. The middle of the city is so alive and vibrant. People from all over the world walk the streets where you find music, performances, shows. The transport services are good and relatively cheap (compared to Sydney). The University offers many clubs and societies, discounts for students and areas for International students to access special programs to help them academically or with housing or personal issues.

I havent finished yet but I have seen main fairs where you meet people that are seeking for new employers. The commerce faculty also delivers many activities that are great for a cv.
