Atlantic Union College had its beginnings as South Lancaster Academy, a secondary school begun in 1882. Atlantic Union College is a Christian liberal arts college in the Seventh-day Adventist tradition. It offers professional and pre-professional programs.The college offers Bachelor of Arts, Fine Arts, Music and Science degrees apart from Associate Degrees, Certificates and Pre-Professional Curricula. In the graduate level Master of Education Degree is offered. Besides, a Summers-only Program and Adult Degree Program are also conducted by the university.
