The Sisters of Mercy founded Mount Mercy College (now Carlow University) in 1929. Carlow University's main campus is located in Pittsburgh. Carlow also offers programs and classes at three other locations: Community Education in downtown Pittsburgh and the Regional Learning Alliance Conference, and Learning Center in Cranberry Township.The University offers over 50 academic programs within 6 divisions and schools, namely, The Division of Humanities, The Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, The School for Social Change, The School of Management, The School of Nursing and The School of Education.
