Central Wyoming College is a publicly funded institution in Wyoming. A disagreement over whether the College should be located in Lander or Riverton and district boundary conflicts postponed the College planning until 1960. The main campus is located in Riverton and the College has off-campus sites in Jackson, Lander, Thermopolis, Dubois and, the Wind River Indian Reservation. The College offers associate degree programs in accounting, fine arts, criminal justice, culinary arts, education, equine studies, graphic design, hotel and restaurant management, mathematics among others. There are nearly 3,000 students on campus.
