The Citadel, founded in 1842, is a public coeducational senior military college. The college is located in Charleston, South Carolina. The academic programs are housed in five schools: School of Business Administration; Education; Engineering; Humanities and Social Sciences; and Science and Mathematics. The college offers bachelors degrees, masters degrees and one specialist degree in two areas. The Citadel Graduate College offers graduate programs and one graduate certificate program with concentrations in education, psychology, computer science and business.
