Coppin State University was founded in 1900 at what was then called Colored High School, the campus is situated at West Baltimore, Maryland.The under graduate majors and the different study programs are housed in the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Professional Studies, School of Nursing, School of Management Science and Economics and Honors College. The school of Graduate Studies offers graduate programs in Education, Human Services Administration, Criminal Justice, Nursing and Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling in addition to a Master of Education on line.
