Great Basin College, established in 1874, is a public institution located at Elko, Nevada. The College has numerous programs offering certificate, diploma or associates degree in biological and physical sciences, business administration, data entry, corrections and criminal justice, diesel mechanics technology, electrical, electronic and communications engineering, industrial mechanics and maintenance technology, information science, liberal arts and sciences, nursing, occupational safety and health technology, office management and supervision and welding technology. The College has campuses in Battle Mountain, Ely, Pahrump, and Winnemucca.
