The Loma Linda University is a private, Christian university founded in 1905 by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The university is located in Loma Linda, California and currently enrolls over 4,000 students. It comprises of 8 schools: Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Religion, and Science and Technology and a Graduate Studies program which offer courses that lead to certificates of completion, associate in science degrees, doctor of philosophy and professional doctoral degrees.
