Sacred Heart Major Seminary was founded in the year 1919. It is a private institution located in Detroit, Michigan. The College enrols over 400 students and offers bachelors, associate, masters, diploma and licentiate programs in several areas of study. Some of the academic disciplines in which programs are offered are Music, Philosophy, Pastoral Ministry, Sacred Theology, Divinity, Evangelization and Catechesis. In addition to these, the Seminary also offers permanent diaconate programs in the form of undergraduate diploma in Pastoral Ministry and undergraduate intermediate diploma in Diaconical Studies.
