The University of Texas at El Paso, founded in 1914, is located on the northern bank of the Rio Grande, in El Paso, Texas. Currently there are 19,800 students enrolled here. The university is subdivided into several colleges; they are Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Health Sciences, Science, Liberal Arts and the University College.
